Rivertrade was founded in 2004 by Mr. Jose Rivera. It is mainly engaged in the importation of seafood such as fish, dried salted fish, vegetables, chicken and other household items. La Coruña directly employs 20 people and is the first Puerto Rican company with offices in the Asian continent, dedicated to the research and development of new products for the Puerto Rican market.

The main products that make up the Rivertrade offer include cod, salmon, tilapia, chillo, grouper, dorado, king crab, breaded fish fillet, frozen shrimp, pasta and quick-prepared frozen vegetables. The brands that La Coruña, lnc works with. They are Lisbon and Bilbao and they are leaders in their category. In addition, brands such as Green Farm, Fresh Valley, Tastee Choice, Rhino and Premium Tender are worked, which offer a variety of products such as frozen vegetables, ready-to-cook foods, a variety of frozen chickens, and household items.
